Vases, knick knacks, knitted bedspreads and quilts, glassware and stuff go to the Red, White and Blue Thrift Store on Saw Mill Run Blvd. 

Furniture, paintings and prints, lamps go to St. Vincent de Paul

Kitchenware, plates, and the like, electronics, lamps, glassware, vases go to the Goodwill on the South Side.  

Or you can go to some of the new vintage boutiques up and down East Carson Street.  They are not thrift shops and the prices will be jacked up pretty high.  Also, there is a guy I know in Squirrel Hill that sells mid century stuff out of his garage.  If you let me know when you are going we can make an appointment for you to go and take a look.</description>
